Winter Solstice EVE & Sound Ceremony 12/20/25

Supporting the dark within…

Winter Solstice is Sunday the 21 of December, this year we gather the night before, Saturday December 20 - aka SOLSTICE EVE - to prepare ourselves for the longest night of the year.

It is so important as tribal humans to create beauty and sanctuary, especially during wild times of great change and unpredictability. Ritual helps. Being in sacred circle helps. Vibrational sound helps.

When we do these things we re-member who we are: Love, Compassion, Awakened, Alive.

We’ll come together to create a beautiful gratitude bundle known as a despacho or haywaricuy. (high-wah-ree-kwee)

This contemporary rendition of an ancient Andean ceremony uses ritual offerings to give thanks for the gifts that we have received from Spirit.  It is a way to give back to Source, and express our deep gratitude for all we have and all our earth offers to us. When prepared and offered with love and sincerity, haywarikuy restores balance & harmony to our lives.

The Q’ero Indians, the original peoples of the high mountains in Peru call this high ritual the haywarikuy - it roughly translates to, “to make with your own hands.” We are asked by these beautiful wisdom keepers to impart & share this tradition to bring balance and harmony to ALL people, to all beings, to our Mother Earth, our pachamama. Please come and make with your own hands a bundle of love and gratitude for personal & planetary healing.

After the creation of the haywaricuy a healing soundscape will be crafted for the highest healing of all as we welcome the Winter season.

WHAT: The creation of a Gratitude Bundle ceremony. Also known as a despacho or haywaricuy. (high-wah-ree-kwee)

We will follow the haywa creation with a sound experience that includes 2 gongs, crystal bowl, chimes & other powerful instruments. This sound scape designed to bring healing and balance.
